I would prune while still dormant, and then selectively prune as the season progresses. Feeding is always helpful, just do what the recommended application rate says. Water is usually not an issue in the spring! I love knockout roses

If applied correctly, it should never effect ground water. There is always that chance if you spray too close to a ditch or creek, but if sprayed correctly over a standard yard, it should not be concentrated enough to effect well water! Good Question!!

I am not understanding your concern. I am not damaging the animal. It only takes a few days of repetition and a dog will respond forever. It is just like spanking a child. You are not hurting them, you are addressing a specific issue in a specific manner. Never in anger and never in front of others, always calm, collected and intentional.
If you have a better method of training, please let me know and I will post an addendum!!!

How much are you asking for your Stella's? I enjoy Daylilies for the ease of care. Hope it will dry out soon. I also live in TN. and this has been a wet winter.
