"...It is amazing what having the right equipment will do for you...."

Well said. My father tried to teach me this lesson for years. I was a slow learner. Whether you're cutting grass or cleaning the carb, you need the right tools. I've been using a John Deere for upwards of 20 years now. Still running like a clock. It has never failed to start on the first try. Of course, now that we're well into July here on the east coast, the lawn mowing will start getting less frequent. But June was a beautiful month.

We have always used Toro's for the most part. I have some Murray's that I don't mind tearing up on some rough REO properties we take care of. Currently we have:
1 Murray 46" riding mower
1 Murray 21" push
1 Toro 21" commercial
1 Toro 32" mid-range walk-behind with Sulkie
and 1 Toro 60" z-turn
